BEAST and Create Don't Hate are stoked to present the 2009 Battle Slam Jam this Saturday, August 22 at Grayson Skate Park, Charlotte NC.
As the only all-inclusive community festival in the area, this year’s event promises to be the biggest ever! For 2009 Battle Slam Jam’s NACO award-winning format will include:
- multiple skateboard contests
- a B-boy/B-girl contest
- urban freestyle soccer
- interactive street art mural and hands-on aerosol techniques from infamous graffiti writer DESISM of KYC crew, Bronx NYC
- music and beats from DJ Quintillion, DJ the Mexican & DJ Jungle Monkey, DJ Agent Blak and specially-selected local bands
- special performances by Poppin’ Paul, Hood, ELu, and Omega Sparxs
- exclusive ‘Pop Up’ stores from BEAST Streetwear, God City, Nuthing Clothing and more
